TOOTHACHES
Extreme Toothache or Pain
For extreme tooth pain that you cannot determine any particular cause of, try rinsing the mouth with warm salt water and flossing gently. Do not put any kind of medication or painkillers directly on the affected area. See your dentist so that she can examine and diagnose the cause and recommend treatment so that you can be relieved of pain and get back to your daily life!
How to Handle Toothaches
Use dental floss to loosen any food debris that may be stuck in between your teeth. If doing this does not resolve your discomfort, take an over-the-counter painkiller, like ibuprofen, to reduce inflammation in the meantime. At your emergency visit, we will determine the cause of your discomfort and finalize a solution to address your pain.
